SongHouse is an independent record label, publishing, and production organisation run by veteran music business executives with a long list of hit records and successful projects under their belts. From Nik Kershaw to Swanston/Cox (Rozalla Everybodys Free), indie princess Imogen Heap, to pop band The Feeling, to a huge list of production and publishing credits totalling over 60M units.
Directors Mickey Modern and Barry Andrews have enormous experience in developing, managing, and producing talent. After a long period developing radio stations, live promotions, and a successful production and merch company, the team are back in a industry that has completely transformed, but like the Punk and New Wave times, the new music industry is just as exciting as the days of physical records.

Birdman

A middle age man sits and watches a sparrow lying outside his prison cell window. The bird is crestfallen and clearly in trouble. Birdman is instantly taken by this awful scene and asked the governor for medication to help this bird and her young family. Four long years later he is surrounded by happy colourful gaged birds and hundreds of ornithological books. This man is intelligent and caring, so how could he murder anyone? Well, after publishing two best selling books on birds, he did murder a prison guard, and was sent to Alcatraz for the rest of his life. It was there that this old man began to have grand lucid dreams of himself flying out over the prison surrounded by his flock of birds to a desert island where he walked barefooted on white sands. The only time he was free was in his dreams. Today, they say his ghost still roams the dark corridors looking for his birds. 🦅
